APPRENTICE GLAZIER – BURTON-ON-TRENT

Abbey & Burton Glass is looking for a local Apprentice Glazier to join our team in Burton-on-Trent from October 2026.

Established in 1972, Abbey & Burton Glass has more than 50 years of experience within the glazing industry. We are a long-standing local business supplying and installing windows, doors and glazing products across Burton, Derby and the surrounding areas. We are looking for someone who wants more than simply an apprenticeship. This is an opportunity to learn a skilled trade, gain a recognised qualification and begin a long-term career within an established business.

The Role

Working alongside our experienced glazing team, you will learn how to install a wide range of replacement and new-build fenestration products in residential and other properties. No previous glazing experience is required. We are looking for someone who is practical, reliable, willing to learn and keen to develop within the trade.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
