About The Role
You’ll support the qualified repairs and maintenance operatives of our Repairs Team in delivering high-quality brickwork and groundwork repairs across domestic and commercial properties, ensuring excellent standards of quality, productivity, safety, and customer service in line with One Manchester values.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Deliver excellent customer service and act as a positive ambassador for One Manchester.
- Assist with brickwork and groundwork repairs across a range of properties, including traditional homes, new builds, and commercial premises.
- Follow verbal and written instructions, drawings, diagrams, and calculations.
- Organise workload effectively to meet deadlines, targets, and quality standards.
- Manage and update jobs using a handheld electronic scheduling system.
- Keep work areas clean, safe, and free from waste materials.
- Follow all health and safety regulations and procedures.
- Attend college and complete training towards an NVQ Level 2/3 in Groundwork and Brickwork.
- Maintain punctuality, attendance, and contracted working hours to meet customer appointments.

- Genuine interest in brickwork and groundwork.
- Basic understanding of the construction industry and trades.
- Ability to work safely and efficiently.
- Strong customer focus and commitment to supporting communities.
- Willingness to learn, develop skills, and balance work with study.
