Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What to Expect from the Programme

Before your formal studies begin, we'll immerse you in the Specsavers culture and introduce you to the fundamentals of audiology and patient care.

Throughout your apprenticeship, you'll develop the clinical and professional skills needed to:

  • Deliver diagnostic audiology services
  • Support patients with hearing rehabilitation
  • Perform wax removal procedures
  • Recommend and dispense hearing aids where clinically appropriate

The programme is delivered through a university-led course, combining online learning with seven weeks of residential study at your assigned university. You'll also receive ongoing support from a registered Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) supervisor, who will mentor and guide you throughout your apprenticeship.

Best of all, the course is fully funded. On successful completion, you'll qualify as a Hearing Aid Dispenser and be eligible to register with the HCPC.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered, you'll need:

  • GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4/C or above (or an equivalent qualification)
  • To have lived in the UK/EU for at least 3 years and have the right to work in the UK
  • The ability to commit to a 40-hour working week
  • Be able to demonstrate the ability to communicate in English, for those whose first language is not English. This is an HCPC requirement and must be to the standard of Level 7 of the International English Language Testing System (IELTS)
