About This Opportunity

Kick-start your HR career with Saputo Dairy UK as an HR & Payroll Apprentice.

You’ll gain hands-on experience across HR services and payroll, build valuable skills and undertake relevant professional qualifications (CIPP/CIPD), learning from specialist teams in a supportive, flexible environment at our Weybridge headquarters.

You’ll Make Contributions That Matter By…

  • Building your skills through training, coaching, job shadowing and regular feedback
  • Providing administrative support for the whole employee lifecycle
  • Handling personal and business information with care, confidentiality and discretion
  • Supporting monthly payroll, expenses and third-party payment processes
  • Keeping employee records up to date on our HR systems
  • Responding to HR and payroll queries, with support from experienced colleagues when needed
  • Supporting projects and gaining experience of specialist areas including compensation & benefits, and employee relations

You’re Best Suited for the Role If You…

  • Want to develop a career in HR and Payroll
  • Are committed to completing required training to support future progression
  • Have good numerical, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Are helpful and able to take a professional approach to customer service
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail
  • Are responsible and able to deal with confidential information, data protection matters and sensitive personal information appropriately
  • Are able to follow procedures, learn from feedback, ask questions and recognise when support or escalation is needed
  • Have a basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with willingness to build more advanced skills and confidence with data

Desirable but not Essential:

  • Previous experience in an office, administration or customer service environment
  • Prior exposure to payroll, HR, finance or shared services
  • An interest in using data to identify trends, answer questions and support evidence-based recommendations
