Are you passionate about technology, enjoy solving problems, and want to build a career in IT while earning and learning?

Sizewell C is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Apprentice IT Service Desk Analyst to join our Alliance IT Team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain real-world IT experience while working towards a nationally recognised Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship.

As part of the team supporting one of the UK's most significant energy and construction projects, you'll be at the heart of delivering outstanding technical support to colleagues across the organisation.

As an Apprentice IT Service Desk Analyst, you will:

  • Be the first point of contact for IT support requests via phone, live chat and self-service systems.
  • Log, prioritise and manage IT incidents and service requests.
  • Support users with a range of technologies, including Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Active Directory and cloud-based systems.
  • Work with colleagues and specialist teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Create and maintain knowledge articles and self-service guidance.
  • Contribute ideas that improve service quality and user experience.
  • Develop your technical and professional skills in a supportive team environment.

About the Apprenticeship

Alongside your role, you'll complete the Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard, which develops highly transferable skills that can be applied across any modern organisation.
