We're looking for motivated and enthusiastic an Apprentice Joiner to join our growing team in Greenock

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is eager to develop a skilled trade, gain valuable hands-on experience and work towards a recognised joinery qualification while earning a salary. As an Apprentice Joiner, you'll learn from experienced professionals while developing the practical skills and technical knowledge needed for a successful career within the construction and property maintenance industry. You'll support a variety of joinery, repair and installation activities, helping us deliver safe, high-quality services to customers across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with joinery installations, repairs and maintenance works.
  • Learn how to measure, cut, assemble and install timber products and components.
  • Support the fitting of doors, windows, kitchens, flooring, skirting boards and other joinery elements.
  • Assist qualified joiners with planned and reactive maintenance activities.
  • Ensure tools, equipment and work areas are maintained safely and responsibly.
  • Deliver excellent customer service when working in customers' homes and communities.
  • Attend college and complete coursework as part of the apprenticeship programme.
  • Follow all health, safety and compliance requirements.

What We're Looking For

We'd love to hear from candidates who are:

  • Interested in building a career in the joinery and construction industry.
  • Eager to learn and develop new skills.
  • Reliable, proactive and committed to delivering high-quality work.
  • Comfortable working as part of a team.
  • Positive in their approach and willing to take on new challenges.
  • Committed to completing an apprenticeship qualification.
  • GCSEs (or equivalent), ideally including Maths, English and a practical or technical subject.
  • Good problem-solving and practical skills.
  • A willingness to work towards obtaining a full UK driving licence if not already held.
