Join a Property Management apprenticeship combining hands-on experience with a recognised qualification. Support lettings, inspections, maintenance, tenant enquiries, and compliance while learning from a supportive team. Gain training, career progression, paid travel expenses, industry skills, and real responsibility from day one.
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
You will support the Lettings & Property Management team with day-to-day tasks, including:
- Managing property files and administration
- Liaising with landlords, tenants, and contractors
- Arranging maintenance and repairs
- Booking & carrying out property inspections
- Assisting with inventories
- Assisting with re-letting processes and tenancy progression
- Conducting tenant referencing procedures
- Answering calls and handling enquiries
- Updating systems and ensuring compliance
- Assisting with tenancy progression and supporting rent reviews
- Conducting property viewings and feedback
- Completing and negotiating offers/applications
A full driving licence and access to your own car are essential, as you’ll be travelling between properties.

What you'll learn
Course contents
- Customer Service: Apply a range of customer service skills in order to provide a professional, accurate, timely, ethical, and non-judgemental front line service which meets the needs of a diverse range of customers and stakeholders.
- Communication: Demonstrate appropriate communication skills to enable timely identification and/or resolution of issues for customers and appropriate signposting to other colleagues and/or partner agencies.
- Collaborative working: Work collaboratively with colleagues and partners to achieve individual, team, and business targets.
- Respond to vulnerability: Use skill and judgment to understand the needs of vulnerable individuals and groups (including those with complex needs) and respond appropriately.
- Information collection and sharing: Use a variety of methods to identify, collect, and communicate technical and other information in a confident and effective manner.
- Influencing and negotiating skills: Influence and negotiate with customers, partners, and suppliers.
- Self Management: Organise and plan their own work to ensure tasks are completed and deadlines met.
- Problem Solving: Use a problem-solving and flexible approach in their day-to-day duties.
- Tools and Equipment: Effective use of IT equipment and software, through administration and the appropriate use of work equipment.
- Decision making: Effective decision-making in order to apply the businesses' objectives and priorities.

After this apprenticeship
Your earnings can increase over time with an apprenticeship. Successful completion of the apprenticeship can lead to a permanent role within the business, with progression opportunities into Lettings Negotiator, Property Manager, Senior Property Manager, Branch Manager, or other specialist property roles. Further industry qualifications and professional development may also be available.
