Opportunity for an Apprentice Nursery Practitioner

An opportunity has arisen for an Apprentice Nursery Practitioner to join a well-established childcare provider committed to delivering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn, develop, and thrive through high-quality early years of education and care.

As an Apprentice Nursery Practitioner, you will report to the Room Leader, working alongside experienced childcare professionals, supporting children's daily care and learning while developing your skills through an Early Years apprenticeship programme.

You Will Be Responsible For

  • Supporting the day-to-day care, learning, and development of young children.
  • Assisting with planned indoor and outdoor activities that encourage children's development.
  • Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Helping children feel safe, secure, and settled within the nursery environment.
  • Encouraging children's communication, play, and social development.
  • Following nursery routines, policies, and procedures always.
  • Attending team meetings and contributing to the smooth running of the nursery.
  • Reporting accidents, incidents, and potential hazards promptly.
  • Looking after toys, equipment, and learning resources, ensuring they are clean, safe, and well maintained.
  • Taking an active role in your own learning and professional development throughout your apprenticeship.

What We Are Looking For

  • Enrolled on, or willing to undertake, an Early Years Educator Level 2 or Level 3 Apprenticeship.
  • Genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
  • Willingness to learn from experienced childcare professionals.
  • Able to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
