Are you looking to learn a skilled trade and build a long-term career? Mitie Property Services is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Painter & Decorator to join our team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working towards a recognised Painting & Decorating qualification. You'll work alongside experienced professionals, learning all aspects of the trade across a variety of projects throughout the region.
What You'll Be Doing
As an Apprentice Painter & Decorator, you'll receive full training and support whilst developing practical skills, including:
- Internal and external painting and decorating works.
- Preparing surfaces, including sanding, filling, and minor repair works.
- Learning how to use painting and decorating tools, materials, and equipment safely and effectively.
- Assisting with the erection and use of access equipment following appropriate training.
- Setting up access plant, protective coverings, and temporary screening where required.
- Maintaining decorating materials and equipment to ensure efficient working practices.
- Delivering high-quality workmanship while meeting customer expectations.
- Working safely and following all Health & Safety procedures at all times.

- Willing to attend college and work towards a recognised qualification in Painting & Decorating.
