The Role
As an Apprentice Parts Advisor, you will be a key member of our team, supporting our parts department with day-to-day operations. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn the trade and develop a strong foundation in automotive parts and customer service. You will work closely with experienced advisors and technicians to ensure our customers receive the right parts swiftly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the accurate identification and sourcing of automotive parts for customers and workshop technicians.
- Provide excellent customer service both in person and over the phone, responding to enquiries with professionalism and care.
- Maintain parts stock levels by supporting stock control and ordering processes.
- Update and manage parts database records to ensure accuracy and availability of parts information.
- Support the team in processing sales transactions and maintaining paperwork.
- Learn and adhere to company policies, health and safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the dealership to support smooth operations.
- Develop technical knowledge of automotive parts to provide informed advice to customers and technicians.

Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who is eager to learn and grow within the automotive sector. This apprenticeship is perfect for someone who is organised, personable, and has a keen interest in vehicles and parts.
- Minimum GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
- A proactive and positive attitude towards learning and teamwork.
- Basic IT skills and a willingness to learn new software systems.
- An interest in the automotive industry and a desire to build a long-term career.
- Ability to work under supervision and follow instructions carefully.
