Apprentice Personal Trainer
A fantastic opportunity to begin a career as a personal trainer with a well-established independent local gym. Training provided includes First Aid/Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification. Gain valuable on-on-job experience of all aspects of operating a fitness facility. We have been working successfully with apprentices for over 10 years. Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
Responsibilities
- Shadowing a full-time member of staff carrying out member inductions/personal exercise programmes
- Administration tasks: signing up and supporting members
- General cleaning to maintain the gym equipment for the membership
Requirements
- GCSE in Physical Education (grade 4+) (Desirable)
- Share if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience. The apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know.

- The vacancy will involve shift work and weekend work and the requirement to be on your feet for most of the day.

Application Process
- Successful application will undertake a Personal Training (level 3) qualification
- PT qualification is completed at the workplace, so it forms part of the working day
- First Aid qualification is completed as a one-day course away from the workplace
