Water Business Apprentice

We are looking for an Apprentice to join our Water business who are a national provider of infrastructure and non-infrastructure water and wastewater services to UK water utility companies. You will join our Plant team who are responsible for the transport logistics of plant and machinery for our project sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dealing with enquiries from clients and customers via email, telephone calls, and different systems
  • Creating, maintaining, and ensuring efficient handling of documentation
  • Working closely with a range of colleagues and stakeholders including internal teams, site-based colleagues, and client representatives to ensure our projects run smoothly

In order to fully develop in your role, you will be enrolled onto the L3 Business Administrator apprenticeship qualification with one of our training partners. This learning pathway is delivered entirely remotely, and you will access online self-accessed or virtually delivered classroom sessions, and one-to-one support from your tutor or coach. They will also meet regularly with you and your line manager to ensure you are progressing through your programme.

Academic Entry Requirements

In order to be successful in this role, we would like you to have:

  • 5 GCSEs at Grade 9-4/A*-C including English and Mathematics
  • Good IT skills and able to use Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel
  • Good organisation, time management, attention to detail, and communication skills

You must also be available to start full-time work by October/November 2026 and have:

  • The commitment to live and breathe our company values during your work and studies
  • The motivation and dedication to successfully complete your apprenticeship programme

Please note, as this is an apprenticeship programme, in order to be eligible to apply you must not already have an equivalent level or higher qualification in the occupational area, or significant work experience.

Upon successful completion of your programme, you will achieve:

  • Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship
