About The Role
You’ll support the qualified repairs and maintenance operatives of our Repairs Team in delivering high-quality plumbing repairs and maintenance across domestic and commercial properties, ensuring high standards of quality, productivity, safety, and customer service in line with One Manchester policies.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assist with plumbing repairs and emergency works across One Manchester properties, including traditional, new-build, and commercial premises.
- Work from verbal and written instructions, drawings, diagrams, and specifications.
- Organise workload effectively to meet deadlines, targets, and quality standards.
- Maintain clean, safe, and tidy work areas and leave properties in good condition.
- Follow all health and safety regulations and procedures.
- Attend college and complete training towards an NVQ Level 3 Plumbing qualification.
- Support One Manchester's business objectives and performance targets.
- Accurately record data and report any data quality issues promptly.

What We’re Looking For
We’re after someone who has:
- Strong interest in plumbing.
- Basic understanding of the construction industry and trades.
- Ability to work safely and efficiently.
- Customer-focused with a commitment to supporting local communities.
- Eagerness to learn and develop while balancing work and study.
- Commitment to learning to drive and obtaining a driving licence.
- Commitment to completing a Level 3 Domestic Plumbing qualification (or equivalent).
- Willingness to achieve English and Maths qualifications if not already held.
