Auburn University - Apprentice Plumber Opportunity
Auburn University is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Apprentice Plumber to join our Facilities Management Division. This entry-level role is designed for individuals who would like to join a plumbing apprenticeship program, with the goal of developing the knowledge and hands-on skills needed to become a journey-level plumber over a four-year training period.
Role Overview
As an Apprentice Plumber, you’ll receive a blend of classroom instruction and paid, on-the-job experience, giving you the opportunity to learn while contributing to meaningful work across campus. Under the guidance of experienced journey-level plumbers, you will assist with day-to-day maintenance, installation, and repair tasks.

Responsibilities
- Develop foundational skills in plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Learn to interpret and apply plumbing codes and safety practices.
- Assist with troubleshooting issues involving piping, fixtures, drainage, and water systems.
- Support a team committed to maintaining a safe, reliable, and efficient campus environment.
