This role will provide administrative support to our commercial property lawyers in the Southampton office. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Filing
  • Printing
  • Management and retrieval from storage
  • File inception
  • File Closure
  • General Support

You will be responsible for providing administrative support to lawyers, including filing and archiving and the organisation of documents including:

  • Printing and bundling of documents and engrossments
  • Scanning and organising e-files
  • Sending counterparts to relevant parties and/or uploading to relevant client extranets

Opening files - running conflict checks, obtaining Anti Money Laundering documents, creating the e-file and all relevant sub-files

Other duties will include:

  • Collating, analysing and reporting of data as required by fee earners / clients
  • Supporting with Conference and meeting arrangements
  • Assisting with internal team communications
  • Assisting Legal Support Assistants to provide support to other / non-assigned fee earners as appropriate
