Summary
As an Apprentice Property Services Co-ordinator you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting our Maintenance and Planned Works teams while developing valuable administration, customer service and organisational skills. With structured training and mentoring, you’ll work towards a recognised Business Administration qualification.
Wage
£15,600 for your first year, then could increase depending on your age
Training
- Course: Business administrator (level 3)
- Training provider: WIGAN AND LEIGH COLLEGE
Hours
Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm, a 30 minute paid lunch break each day.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
- Handling customer, contractor and colleague enquiries
- Managing shared inboxes and updating systems
- Preparing correspondence and documents
- Coordinating maintenance, appointments and works orders
- Processing timesheets and purchase orders
- Maintaining property and compliance records
- Preparing reports and spreadsheets
- Supporting general administration, GDPR and health & safety requirements

Training
Apprenticeships include time away from working for specialist training. You’ll study to gain professional knowledge and skills.
What you'll learn
- Skilled in the use of multiple IT packages and systems relevant to the organisation in order to: write letters or emails, create proposals, perform financial processes, record and analyse data.
- Produces accurate records and documents including: emails, letters, files, payments, reports and proposals.
- Demonstrates good communication skills, whether face-to-face, on the telephone, in writing or on digital platforms.
- Completes tasks to a high standard.
- Takes responsibility for initiating and completing tasks, manages priorities and time in order to successfully meet deadlines.

After this apprenticeship
Your earnings can increase over time with an apprenticeship. On successful completion of the apprenticeship, there may be opportunities to progress into a permanent role within the Property Services team. The apprenticeship will provide a strong foundation for a career in property services, administration or property management, with opportunities to develop further skills and take on additional responsibilities as you progress.
