Apprentice Purchasing Assistant
Full-Time | Site-Based | Manufacturing & Engineering

We’re working with a well-established manufacturing business with over 100 years of heritage, an excellent reputation for quality and its people, and the backing of a successful global group. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Purchasing & Supply Chain team, learn from experienced people and understand how different parts of a manufacturing business work together.

You’ll get hands-on experience across purchasing, procurement and supply chain, including:
- Working closely with suppliers and building strong relationships
- Gathering and analysing purchasing and supplier data
- Supporting purchasing activities, orders and supplier enquiries
- Working closely with Production and Planning teams
- Helping ensure materials and components are available when needed
- Understanding stock, lead times, costs and supplier performance
- Learning how purchasing decisions impact the wider business
- Getting exposure to different departments across a busy manufacturing site

You’ll work towards:
- Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship
- CIPS Level 3/4 – Procurement & Supply
