The government have provided special funding for a limited time to support young apprentices in the workplace.

About the Role
JCR supports people at home becoming independent following a short reablement programme. Reablement is about teaching people the skills to get back to a level of independence following a period of illness.
We will train you on the job and it won’t cost you a penny. Upon completion of your apprenticeship, you will receive a Level 2 Diploma in Care and a permanent role as a JCR Support Worker.
Our apprenticeship programme offers many benefits from working with a large organisation, including mentoring support and many opportunities for career progression.
During your apprenticeship, you will work alongside experienced staff delivering high quality care to individuals. This varied role includes visiting people in their homes, teaching people new skills, assisting with therapy exercises, and engaging in conversation and active listening. You will also help with meal preparation and offer personal care support, ensuring dignity and comfort at all times.
You don’t need any experience, just a desire to make a difference and a full driving licence.
Requirements
- can converse at ease with clients and their advocates
- have patience and understanding when providing support
- can work as part of a team
- have a driving licence and access to a car to meet the travel requirements of the post

The role involves working shifts between the hours of 7am and 10pm. This includes weekends and bank holidays.
