About the Role

To professionally lead the care team ensuring that a safe, effective, and efficient care service is maintained which meets the needs of residents and purchasers. To provide care to residents in accordance with their assessed needs to an industry-leading standard.

What You'll Do at Work

• Provide leadership and support for care staff and act as a champion for residents’ safety and dignity.
• Maintain skills and knowledge and ensure that care is delivered according to the latest guidelines and best practice evidence available.
• Ensure the ongoing safety of residents, staff, and visitors through systematic assessment, monitoring, and reviewing processes.
• Ensure that clear and accurate records and communication systems relating to clinical and care delivery are maintained and effectively used.
• Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults / Mental Capacity Act.

• Identify future changes in the sector such as technology advances that may impact their organisation.
• Monitor the use of technology and the potential to reduce energy consumption through their optimisation in day-to-day tasks, such as reducing the use of paper and switching off items when not in use.
