Apprentice Vehicle Technician
North Oxford Garage is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Apprentice Vehicle Technician to join our busy and friendly workshop team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has a genuine interest in cars and wants to build a long-term career in the motor trade while gaining valuable hands-on experience and working towards a recognised qualification.
The Role
As an Apprentice Vehicle Technician, you will work alongside our experienced technicians and learn all aspects of vehicle servicing, maintenance and repair.
Your training will include:
- Carrying out vehicle servicing and routine maintenance
- Assisting with vehicle inspections and diagnostics
- Learning how to identify and repair mechanical faults
- Brakes, suspension, exhausts and steering systems
- Tyres and general vehicle maintenance
- Using workshop tools and diagnostic equipment
- Following health and safety procedures
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workshop

About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Genuinely interested in cars and vehicle technology
- Keen to learn and develop new skills
- Reliable, hardworking and punctual
- Practical and enjoys working with their hands
- Able to work as part of a team
- Willing to listen, learn and take instruction
- Ideally holds a full or provisional driving licence, although this is not essential
