We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Apprentice Technician to join our team at Porsche Centre in Perth

As an Apprentice Technician, you will develop the skills, knowledge and confidence needed to build a long-term career in the motor industry with one of the world’s most iconic automotive brands. This opportunity is ideal for someone with a genuine enthusiasm for the Porsche brand, who is passionate about pursuing a career in mechanics, enjoys solving problems, and is keen to learn within a high-performing team.

Supported by an industry-leading 3 year training programme, including all required IMI training and assessments, you will work alongside experienced senior technicians to assist with routine servicing, inspections and maintenance tasks, use diagnostic tools to support fault-finding, and gain hands-on experience repairing mechanical and electrical vehicle systems.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assist senior technicians in routine servicing, inspections, and maintenance tasks
  • Support fault-finding using diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Learn to repair mechanical and electrical vehicle systems
  • Follow health & safety procedures and work safely in the workshop
  • Record work completed, parts used, and service activity accurately
  • Attend all required IMI training and assessments
  • Work as part of a team to ensure high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction

What you will need to be an Apprentice Technician at Perth

  • National 5 (or equivalent) A–C / 9–4 in Maths and English (Predicted grades are accepted, provided the final results meet the required standards.)
  • A positive and inclusive attitude, who thrives in a collaborative, team environment
  • Enthusiasm, with a strong drive and willingness to learn
  • Ability to multitask and use your own initiative when faced with challenges
  • Commitment to completing tasks within the apprenticeship programme

Hours of work will be 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday: 8.30 am - 17.30 pm (This is subject to change after Level 1 has been completed)

A uniform will be provided
