Administrator - Workbase Team (Maternity Cover)

Location: Chesterfield

Salary: £16,586.55 per annum (£24,548.09 pro rata)

The Vacancy

(25 hours per week/52 weeks per year)

  • 38 days pro rata paid holiday per year
  • Membership of the Local Government Pension Scheme
  • Fixed term post until 31 December 2027 or earlier/later if required by the period of maternity cover

A vacancy has arisen for an experienced, enthusiastic Administrator responsible for the Apprenticeship provision within our Engineering & Construction Department. The working pattern for this role will be over 5 days Monday – Friday with flexible start and finish times.

The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Curriculum Managers and Work Based Tutors working to a high standard of accuracy and presentation. Working as part of a team you will be responsible for the maintenance and production of accurate and timely management information, producing general correspondence and reports, whilst also undertaking general office duties.

Knowledge and experience using office technology packages including word processing applications and spreadsheets is essential.

You will communicate with our learners, employers and internal departments therefore excellent communication skills and a professional outlook are essential. Flexibility to work additional hours when required is advantageous.
