About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Personal Tutor to support learners undertaking Early Years qualifications. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong educational background and practical experience within schools, Early Years settings, or specialist learning environments.
As a Personal Tutor, you will deliver engaging and inspirational teaching and learning experiences, tailoring your approach to suit individual learner and employer needs. You will provide high-quality support, guidance, and feedback throughout the learner journey, helping individuals achieve their qualifications while ensuring an exceptional learning experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspire, motivate, and support learners to successfully achieve their Early Years qualifications.
- Deliver high-quality teaching, coaching, and assessment through a blend of online and face-to-face learning.
- Build positive relationships with learners and employers, delivering consistently excellent service aligned to our values.
- Facilitate workplace learning and support learners through accessible resources, workshops, and on-the-job training.
- Plan and deliver engaging, interactive learning sessions that promote active participation and measurable progress.
- Conduct learner reviews, observations, and progress assessments, ensuring all activity is accurately recorded.
- Provide timely, constructive, and impactful feedback that supports continuous improvement and achievement.
- Monitor learner progress and implement appropriate interventions to ensure successful outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and compliant learner documentation in line with quality and funding requirements.

Essential Experience
- A strong background in education, such as a qualified teacher, SENCO, HLTA, Teaching Assistant, or senior school-based role.
- Experience supporting learners in classroom environments, including those with SEND, SEMH, EAL, or literacy needs.
- Experience working within schools, Early Years settings, or specialist educational environments.
- Proven experience delivering engaging teaching and learning through both online and face-to-face methods.
- Experience supporting learner development, portfolio building, and progress reviews.
- Knowledge of apprenticeship delivery, including Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours (KSBs) and End-Point Assessment (EPA) requirements.
- A proven track record of delivering outstanding teaching, coaching, or learner support.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to effectively manage your own caseload.
- A full UK driving licence, access to a vehicle, and willingness to travel across the South West for learner observations.

Essential Qualifications
- Degree in Education, SEND, or a relevant subject area.
- SEND qualification.
- Assessor qualification at Level 3 or above (CAVA, TAQA, D32/A1, V1).
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare, or Teaching Assistant Practice.
- Substantial occupational competency and experience within the Early Years sector or as a Teaching Assistant.
