Location: Remote, with learner observations across the South

Hours: 36.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Salary: Up to £33,000 per annum + bonus

As a Personal Tutor, you will support and inspire learners undertaking Adult Care and Senior Healthcare Support Worker apprenticeships up to Level 3. Through high-quality teaching, coaching, and workplace observations, you will help learners develop the knowledge, skills, and behaviours needed to succeed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging teaching, coaching, and workplace learning activities.
  • Support learners to achieve their Health & Social Care qualifications and apprenticeship milestones.
  • Conduct progress reviews, workplace observations, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Develop learning resources and facilitate workshops to enhance learner engagement.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with apprenticeship standards.
  • Build strong relationships with learners and employers to deliver an outstanding experience.

What We're Looking For:

Essential Experience

  • Strong occupational background in Health & Social Care, such as Senior Healthcare Support Worker, Team Leader, Senior Carer, or similar.
  • Experience working in residential, domiciliary, supported living, or clinical care settings.
  • Previous experience mentoring, coaching, or supporting colleagues and learners.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, person-centred care, and relevant care standards.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Experience delivering blended learning, both online and face-to-face.
  • Understanding of apprenticeship delivery, including KSBs and End-Point Assessment (EPA).
  • Ability to support portfolio development, progress reviews, and learner achievement.
  • Excellent communication and motivational skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage a caseload effectively.

Qualifications

  • Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Assessor qualification (CAVA, TAQA, D32/D33, A1, or equivalent).
  • Teaching qualification (AET, PTLLS, CertEd, PGCE) or relevant delivery experience.
  • Full UK driving licence, access to a vehicle, and willingness to travel.
