Apprenticeship Coordinator | Employer & Learner Support
Salary: £28,000 per annum
Location: Stafford | Hybrid Working (3 days office, 2 days home)
Hybrid working (3 days office, 2 days home).
25 days annual leave plus bank holidays and Christmas closure.
4 wellbeing days per year.
Employee Assistance Programme.
3 additional work-from-home weeks per year.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growing Training Provider and Awarding Organisation. This role is ideal for an organised, customer-focused professional with experience in apprenticeships, training administration, learner services, education, or stakeholder support.
As an Apprenticeship Coordinator | Employer & Learner Support, you will play a key role in supporting both employers and apprentices throughout their apprenticeship journey. You'll be responsible for onboarding, learner records, progress monitoring, compliance documentation, and providing an excellent level of support to all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for employers and apprentices.
- Support learner onboarding, eligibility checks and enrolment activities.
- Maintain accurate learner records and apprenticeship documentation.
- Monitor apprentice progress and provide updates to employers and internal teams.
- Coordinate gateway activities and prepare supporting documentation.
- Respond to employer and learner enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Support apprenticeship compliance and funding requirements.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
We're looking for someone who is highly organised, personable and enjoys working in a fast-paced, service-focused environment. You will have:
- Strong administration and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Confidence using Microsoft 365 and database systems.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- A proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused approach.
- Experience building positive relationships with customers, learners, employers or stakeholders.

Desirable Experience
- Previous experience within apprenticeships, education, training or learner services.
- Knowledge of apprenticeship funding rules, compliance and documentation.
- Experience supporting employers and learners throughout programme delivery.
- Stakeholder management experience.
- Understanding of the rail sector would be an advantage.
