About The Role

As an Apprenticeship Coordinator | Employer & Learner Support in Stafford, you will join a growing training provider and awarding organisation. This full-time, hybrid role offers a salary of £28,000 per annum, blending three office days with two remote days each week. You will receive 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, a Christmas closure, four wellbeing days, and three additional work-from-home weeks yearly. Your responsibilities involve guiding employers and apprentices through their programmes, handling administrative duties, and delivering stakeholder support. Suitable for professionals with backgrounds in apprenticeships, education, or learner services, this position demands strong organisational abilities and a customer-focused mindset.

As an Apprenticeship Coordinator | Employer & Learner Support, you will play a key role in supporting both employers and apprentices throughout their apprenticeship journey. You'll be responsible for onboarding, learner records, progress monitoring, compliance documentation, and providing an excellent level of support to all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact for employers and apprentices.
  • Support learner onboarding, eligibility checks, and enrolment activities.
  • Maintain accurate learner records and apprenticeship documentation.
  • Monitor apprentice progress and provide updates to employers and internal teams.
  • Coordinate gateway activities and prepare supporting documentation.
  • Respond to employer and learner enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support apprenticeship compliance and funding requirements.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

You Will Have

  • Strong administration and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Confidence using Microsoft 365 and database systems.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • A proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused approach.
  • Experience building positive relationships with customers, learners, employers, or stakeholders.

Desirable Experience

  • Previous experience within apprenticeships, education, training, or learner services.
  • Knowledge of apprenticeship funding rules, compliance, and documentation.
  • Experience supporting employers and learners throughout programme delivery.
  • Stakeholder management experience.
  • Understanding of the rail sector would be an advantage.
