The Apprenticeship Management Team (AMT) at MOD Lyneham supports apprenticeship programmes that develop highly skilled engineering technicians for the Royal Air Force.

We are looking for an organised, motivated and detail-focused Information Manager to join our professional and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in managing apprenticeship information, learner data and accreditation processes that directly support apprentice achievement and programme success.

No military experience is required. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with digital systems, managing information and delivering excellent support to customers and stakeholders.

This position is advertised at 37 hours per week.

Job Description

As an Information Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining, monitoring and reporting apprenticeship information across a range of digital systems and platforms.

You Will:

  • Maintain apprenticeship and accreditation records across digital management systems.
  • Manage learner information and monitor apprentice progress throughout their programmes.
  • Ensure data is accurate, compliant and available to support funding and accreditation requirements.
  • Produce reports, statistics and management information to support decision-making.

  • Support the management of learner information used for Ofsted reporting and programme monitoring.
  • Work closely with assessors, instructors, station staff, awarding organisations and external stakeholders.
  • Provide administrative and information management support to the Apprenticeship Centre Manager and wider Apprenticeship Management Team.

The role involves regular use of digital platforms including SharePoint, OneFile, TRACKER, TAFMIS and JPA, ensuring information is maintained securely, accurately and in accordance with policy requirements.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
