We have an exciting opportunity for two Apprenticeship Review Coaches to join the apprenticeship team at Loughborough College Group.

As an Apprenticeship Review Coach you will work across all college sites and apprenticeship workplaces. The department seeks to employ a highly motivated and organised individual to join their team working as a Progress Review Coach. The successful candidate will be working with a range of apprentices within various vocational areas and levels.

The Apprenticeship Review Coach will be supporting apprentices throughout their learning journey, ensuring timely progress, successful achievement of qualifications through monitoring the development of knowledge, skills, and behaviours in line with apprenticeship standards.

The role involves coaching, mentoring, tracking performance, and liaising with employers and the college to ensure a high-quality, supportive learning experience whilst monitoring attendance and providing SMART targets where necessary. The Apprenticeship Review Coach will work alongside Trainer Assessors and Lecturers to enable all learners to achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities Of This Role Include

  • Conduct regular tripartite progress reviews with apprentices and employers in line with funding requirements
  • Provide one-to-one coaching sessions to support apprentices’ academic, professional, and personal development
  • Set clear goals and action plans to ensure timely progress and achievement
  • Support the development of employability skills, confidence, and professional behaviours
  • Motivate and engage apprentices to maximise retention and success
  • Working with Trainer Assessors to agree and monitor Action Plan where learners are identified 'at risk'
  • Provide pastoral support and signposting for any issues that may impact learning, performance or personal well-being
  • Supporting learners with reasonable adjustments and ALS
  • Support apprentices with next steps, including end-point assessment preparation, progression into employment, or further study

What We Are Looking For

  • Possess a relevant vocational or academic qualification at level 2 or 3
  • Possess relevant work/vocational experience ideally in Engineering or Construction trades
  • Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to own vehicle as you will be travelling across multiple sites.
