We are looking for an enthusiastic Sales and Marketing Associate
We are looking for an enthusiastic Sales and Marketing Associate to join our team specializing in sales and business administration for our European Commercial Team in Darlington, UK. During your apprenticeship with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!
Summary Of The Role
The Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship develops the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to support the effective running of an organisation and prepare for future management responsibilities. Learners will gain a broad understanding of business operations, stakeholder management, communication, project support, and continuous improvement. By the end of the course, learners will be equipped with highly transferable business administration skills that can be applied across a wide range of sectors and organisations, providing a strong foundation for career progression into supervisory or management roles.
Summary Of The Course
The Sales and Marketing Associate role is a developmental position within the Cummins Emission Solutions European Commercial Team. During the apprenticeship you will work 5 days per week, inclusive of 1 day per week for study at Darlington College. The working hours are 09:00AM to 17:00PM (with flexibility to suit business needs). On completion of this apprenticeship, you will obtain a Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Help build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Interpret relevant data, and business and customer insights, and translate them into value propositions.
- Support sales and commercial activities that drive revenue growth and market share.
- Coordinate communication between customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment.
- Champion the voice of the customer, supporting continuous improvement and business growth.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Must have obtained a 5/B in maths, 5/B in both English subjects. All other subjects can be 4/c or above.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships, convey information clearly, and adapt communication styles to engage a range of stakeholders and audiences.
- Strategic and analytical thinking, enabling the evaluation of complex information, identification of key trends and opportunities, and the development of well-informed solutions to support business objectives.
- Customer focus, with a commitment to understanding customer needs, delivering a positive experience, and building long-term relationships through responsive and proactive support.
- A willingness to learn and network, demonstrating curiosity, openness to feedback, and a proactive approach to developing new skills, expanding knowledge, and building professional connections across the organisation.
