Location: Home-based with travel

Salary: £32,000 - £36,000 per annum + Pension

Hours: Full Time

Hart Learning & Development, part of North Hertfordshire College, is looking for an experienced and passionate Apprenticeship Tutor – Health & Social Care to support learners and apprentices across clinical and non-clinical programmes.

You will deliver high-quality teaching, coaching and assessment, conduct workplace observations and progress reviews, and work closely with employers to ensure learners achieve their qualifications and career goals.

About You

  • Background in Health & Social Care with industry experience or teaching/training experience
  • Degree, relevant occupational qualification, or registered practitioner
  • GCSE Maths and English (Grade C/4 or above, or equivalent)
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Assessor qualification and apprenticeship experience desirable

What You'll Do

  • Deliver engaging learning and assessment
  • Support learner recruitment, induction and progression
  • Conduct workplace observations and reviews
  • Develop tailored learning plans and SMART targets
  • Maintain learner records using OneFile and other digital platforms
  • Promote safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion
