Job Description
Perform tasks as instructed by the site supervisor
- Carry out inspection and testing of electrical installations in line with current regulations.
- Installation of tray work, conduit, trunking
- Installation of SWA type cabling at various sizes
- Installation of distribution boards
- Electrical installation in Industrial Environments
- Diagnose faults and carry out remedial works as required.
- Interpret electrical drawings, schematics and specifications.
- Ensure all installations comply with BS7671 Wiring Regulations.
- Take responsibility for the quality and compliance of one's own work.
- Liaise with supervisors, engineers and clients regarding technical matters.
- Support and guide less experienced electricians and labourers on site.
- Ensure all test equipment is calibrated and used correctly.
- Record and maintain accurate documentation of work completed.
- Identify and report any non-compliance or safety concerns.
- Ensure quality standards are met.
- Comply with all site rules, PPE requirements and H&S regulations.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications/Experience:
- Qualified Electrician C&G/Apprenticeship/AM2 or Equivalent
- C&G 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Inspection & Testing C&G 2391 or Equivalent
- CCNSG

Desirable Qualifications/Experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to communicate with Clients at all levels
- Ability to travel at short notice, including long distances
- Team player
- Willing to work overtime when required, including working away from home Monday - Friday
- Awareness of H+S regulations on site
Additional Information
Working away from home is expected around 80% of the year.
