Role Description
The Approved Electrician will carry out electrical installation, maintenance, fault-finding, and repair work across domestic, commercial, and industrial environments. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

The role involves working on-site in Weston-Super-Mare, liaising with clients and colleagues to plan and deliver jobs efficiently while maintaining a strong focus on health and safety. This is a full-time, on-site position that may include occasional overtime or out-of-hours work to meet project requirements.
Qualifications
- Recognized electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) and Approved Electrician status.
- Valid BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations) qualification and experience with testing, inspection, and certification.
- Proven experience in domestic, commercial, and industrial electrical installations and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of electrical safety practices, risk assessments, and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specification documents.
- Good problem-solving skills for fault diagnosis and effective repairs.
- Full, clean driving license and willingness to travel locally between sites as required.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
- Comfort working independently, managing workload, and maintaining accurate job documentation.
- Previous experience with industrial systems, control panels, or emergency call-out work is an advantage.
