Job Title: Approved Electrician

Salary: £42,000 - £50,000 DOE (50hrs p/week)
Location: Wiltshire (with travel across the South-West)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Leggwork are delighted to be partnering with a long-standing industry leader, bringing over half a century of excellence in Surfacing, Civil Engineering and Water Infrastructure.

We’re looking for a qualified and experienced Electrician to join their dedicated team, helping to maintain and enhance critical water systems across the South West.

This position offers the chance to work on a diverse range of projects, from elite sports facilities (including football stadiums and prestigious golf courses) to major civil engineering and water infrastructure developments. Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out hands-on electrical work on-site as a time-served, qualified electrician
  • Install and rewire pump sheds, replace pumps, and ensure the ongoing integrity of water systems
  • Service, maintain, and fault-find on motors, control panels, and related electrical equipment
  • Travel across the South West to support, maintain, and develop water infrastructure at various locations

Requirements:

  • Flexibility to work a 50-hour week in line with project demands
  • Level 3 Electrotechnical Qualification
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
  • 18th Edition / BS 7671 Wiring Regulations
  • AM2 Qualified
  • Inspection & Testing qualification (e.g. City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent)
  • Proven competence in wiring, pump systems, and control panels
  • Full UK driving licence (company van provided)
