Based at: Tickhill Road Site, Tickhill Road, Balby, Doncaster, DN4 8QN
Salary details: Grade 10 - £48,227- £52,414 (pay award pending) plus an All Inclusive Allowance of up to 16% (pro rata)
Contract Type: Permanent, Full time
Hours: 37 hours to be worked in line with a new rota / condensed hours over three days, covering a 7 day working week pattern

About the Role
The City of Doncaster Council is a confident, ambitious organisation which puts improving the life of its residents at the centre of everything we do. You have an opportunity to be part of this in the role of an Approved Mental Health Professional in the Approved Mental Health Professional hub.
The AMHP Team provides a single route of access to all requests for assessments under the Mental Health Act 1983 in the Doncaster Borough. The remit of the AMHP Team is to provide a timely response to individuals who have been identified as in need of an assessment under the Mental Health Act 1983.
As an AMHP you will be responsible for managing referrals and requests for assessments under the Mental Health Act 1983. You will have overall responsibility for co-ordinating statutory assessments under the MHA 1983 and all other statutory duties and functions of an AMHP.
The post holder will be expected to work a range of shifts (covering 18:30 -07:00 Monday - Sunday, in line with service demand) on a 3 day rota pattern.
