Approved Mental Health Professional / Social Worker (AMHP) – Wandsworth – Permanent
Liquid Personnel are proud to be supporting a well-established London local authority in recruiting an Approved Mental Health Professional / Social Worker to join their dedicated AMHP Service on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and experienced AMHP team, undertaking Mental Health Act assessments and statutory interventions whilst promoting service user rights, wellbeing and independence through high-quality social work practice.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Undertake Mental Health Act assessments and associated statutory duties
- Manage complex and high-risk assessments in line with relevant legislation
- Promote service user choice, independence and person-centred practice
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies to safeguard vulnerable adults
For This Role You Will Need
- AMHP qualification
- Social Work qualification and Social Work England registration
- Experience working as an AMHP within the last 5 years
- Up-to-date AMHP training and a strong understanding of relevant legislation
