Tileyard Music Publishing / Tenace Records — King's Cross, London

Tileyard Music is one of the UK's leading independent music companies, spanning artist management, publishing and label operations, with campuses in King's Cross and Wakefield/Leeds. Our publishing company represents 10,000+ songs, and Tenace Records is our joint venture label with Believe UK.

We're looking for an A&R Manager for a role across our publishing and label businesses — primarily supporting clients on the Tileyard Music Publishing roster, while also working Tenace Records A&R: scouting and developing artist talent for the label.

What you'll do:

  • Scout emerging writers and artists across streaming, socials, and the live/session circuit — for both the publishing roster and the Tenace Records label pipeline
  • Get out into the market: sessions, showcases, gigs, industry events
  • Support signed songwriters and artists day to day — session planning, co-write matching, feedback on demos
  • Pitching songs to industry contacts
  • Organising Writing Camps for artists, songwriters and record labels
  • Bring signing suggestions to A&R meetings, backed by data and reasoning, across both publishing and label
  • Liaise with registrations, business affairs and marketing to keep everything on track

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
