Job Description
We are looking for a passionate music obsessive to join our A&R team. This team forms the creative heart of the label; responsible for both delivering records with our existing roster and signing and nurturing new talent. You must have experience of working with Artists, supporting them through the recording process and over-seeing creative across release campaigns. You will be immersed in music across genre, visual arts and should have in-depth knowledge of music and its history. You will hold an excellent knowledge of Warp’s current roster and legacy. You will understand our independent ethos and what Warp represents in the context of contemporary culture.

Responsibilities
- Working with a roster of our existing artists to support them through the complete A&R cycle of a record.
- Managing the recording process, including budgets, arranging collaborators, managing studios, keeping detailed records and filing parts and metadata.
- Discovering and signing new artists to the label.
- Influencing creative and visual material for releases, including photography, design, video and more.
- Inspiring internal and external teams working on a project, and setting out a vision for our artists.
Qualifications
Required Skills
- Experience of working with artists is essential.
- A great communicator, able to speak confidently to artists, management, staff and partners.
- A collaborative approach, able to get people on side.
- Independent. Able to manage your time effectively to get results.
- Highly creative with the ability to set out the vision for a project.
- Good business sense and an understanding of record deals and basic intellectual property law.

We are looking for candidates in either New York, LA, or London. Expect to be in the office for part of the week, with flexible working.
Salary guide:
- US: $60,000–$90,000 USD
- UK: £35,000–£60,000 GBP
Salary will be determined based on location, experience and qualifications.
