We’re Hiring: Arabic-Speaking Psychotherapist
U Matter Counselling is looking for an experienced Arabic-speaking Psychotherapist to join our team on a contractor basis.
This is a hybrid position, and applicants must be able to work both remotely and in person, with availability for a minimum of 4 days per week.
Arabic fluency is an essential requirement for this role. Applicants must be able to confidently deliver psychotherapy in Arabic and work therapeutically with clients from different Arabic-speaking backgrounds and dialects, including, but not limited to, Moroccan, Syrian and Egyptian Arabic. Applicants must also be fluent in English.

Essential requirements:
- Fluent in Arabic and English, with the ability to provide therapy in Arabic
- Ability to work effectively across different Arabic dialects and cultural backgrounds
- Minimum 2 years’ post-qualification clinical experience working directly with clients
- Clinical experience working with trauma and delivering therapy within a trauma-informed framework
- Current membership/registration with a recognised professional body, such as BACP, UKCP or BPS
- Ability to work both remotely and in person
- Availability for a minimum of 4 days per week
