About The Role
An Arborist position is available in Barnsley with Manpower UK, offering up to £19.00 per hour on a permanent contract. Working 40 hours weekly, Monday to Friday, the role involves tree removals, crown thinning, reductions, lifting, deadwooding, planting, and ongoing maintenance. The employer seeks two experienced professionals to form a new team. Candidates must demonstrate a strong focus on safe working practices, proper care of arboricultural plant, vehicles, and equipment, alongside a genuine passion for delivering high-quality tree care. About The Role
We provide a range of Arboricultural Operations including tree removals, crown thinning/reductions/lifting, deadwooding and tree planting, as well as ongoing tree maintenance. We are now looking for two talented and experienced Arborists, to build a new team in Barnsley.

Requirements
- Previous experience of working in a Climbing Arborist position.
- Awareness of safety protocols and procedures is critical to ensure the well-being of both the surveyor and others in the vicinity of trees being assessed.
- Relevant qualifications such as: Level 3 Maintenance (Formally CS 30 / CS 31), Level 3 Climb Trees and Perform Aerial Rescue (Formally CS 38), Level 2 Operate a Chain Saw from a Rope and Harness (Formally CS 39), Level 3 Aerial Tree Rigging (Formally CS 41).
- Full UK Driving License.
- Eye for detail and willingness to learn.
- A valid DBS, dated within the last 6 months, would be a huge benefit. But one can be obtained by idverde for the right person.
