Architect / Architectural Technologist – 6‑Month Contract

Glasgow

£25-£32p/h

6 Month Contract

Flagship £120m project

A leading Glasgow architectural practice is seeking an Architect or Architectural Technologist to join their team on a 6‑month contract, supporting delivery of a major £120m mixed‑use development. This is a rare chance to step into a high‑profile project at a critical stage and make a meaningful impact from day one.

If you enjoy the technical intensity of RIBA Stages 4–5 and thrive in fast‑paced, detail‑driven environments, this contract will give you the platform to showcase your expertise on a landmark scheme.

Why this contract is worth your attention

  • A flagship £120m project: You’ll be joining the team at a pivotal moment, helping drive technical design and delivery on a complex, multi‑building mixed‑use development with real architectural ambition.
  • Immediate impact: This isn’t a support‑from‑the‑sidelines role. You’ll be hands‑on with technical packages, coordination, consultant engagement and on‑site problem‑solving.
  • A respected Glasgow studio: You’ll work within a collaborative, well‑structured team known for delivering high‑quality projects across Scotland — with all the tools, support and clarity you need to hit the ground running.
  • A perfect fit for someone who loves delivery: If you enjoy the detail, the coordination, the technical challenge and the satisfaction of seeing design become reality, this is your environment.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
