Great architects tend to fall into two camps. Some are strongest in the early design stages, shaping concepts and driving projects forward. Others enjoy the technical side of architecture, coordinating teams, resolving complex details and delivering buildings on site.
A highly respected architectural practice is looking to strengthen its residential and commercial team with the addition of an Architect. With projects ranging from residential developments and mixed-use schemes to commercial and office-led projects, the role offers broad exposure across a variety of sectors, scales and stages. The team is keen to speak with Architects who enjoy taking ownership of their work, collaborating with clients and consultants, and contributing to high-quality projects from concept through to completion.
The Role
You'll work across a range of residential and commercial projects, supporting project teams through design development, technical delivery and project coordination. Depending on your experience and interests, the role can offer greater exposure to either design-led or technical work, whilst maintaining broad project involvement throughout. Working within a collaborative and well-established team, you'll have the opportunity to develop your skills, take on increasing responsibility and help deliver projects that make a meaningful contribution to the built environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to residential and commercial projects across multiple RIBA stages.
- Develop design proposals, planning packages and technical information.
- Coordinate consultants, clients and wider project teams.
- Prepare planning, technical and construction documentation.
- Attend project meetings, design workshops and site visits.
- Support project delivery from concept through to completion.
- Maintain high standards of design quality and technical delivery.
- Contribute to a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Requirements
- ARB-registered Architect, 1-4 years PQE
- Experience working within a UK architectural practice.
- Previous experience on residential, commercial, mixed-use or office projects.
- Strong design and/or technical abilities.
- Good Revit proficiency.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Experience coordinating consultants and project information.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to project delivery.
