Role: Architect or Architectural Technician
Location: Scotland, UK
Rate of Pay: £25 - £30 per hour
Contract: 12-month contract
Working Pattern: Hybrid (2 days office pw)

About the role:
We’re looking for a skilled Architect or Architectural Technician to join our expanding team in Scotland. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality technical information across residential, commercial, educational, and hospitality sectors. You’ll be producing accurate technical drawings and coordinating with consultants and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years experienced Architectural Technician
  • Strong expertise in AutoCAD and Revit, producing detailed technical drawings and construction documentation.
  • Extensive knowledge of UK Building Regulations, planning applications, and construction methods.
  • Skilled in coordinating with clients, contractors, and consultants to deliver projects on time and to specification, with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • Degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related field
  • 8+ years’ experience in a UK architectural practice
  • Strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, InDesign, Vectorworks
  • Solid understanding of Scottish Building Regulations and warrant procedures
  • Experience working in residential, commercial, education, and hospitality sectors
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
