Architect / Architectural Technologist – 6-Month Contract
Glasgow - Hybrid
£25-£32p/h

The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading architectural practice supporting the delivery of a landmark £100 million mixed-use, large-scale social housing development through RIBA Stage 4. This community-led regeneration project will deliver more than 400 high-quality homes for social and mid-market rent, alongside a new community hub and enhanced public realm. Designed with a people-first approach, the development aims to create a connected, sustainable, and vibrant neighbourhood that strengthens community ties, enhances the local environment, and provides a lasting positive impact for residents and the wider community.

Key Responsibilities
- Produce and coordinate technical drawings, specifications, and detailed construction packages.
- Support the technical delivery of a major mixed-use development.
- Liaise with consultants, contractors, and internal project teams to resolve design and construction queries.
- Assist with site coordination, technical compliance, and construction-stage problem solving.
- Ensure all project information is accurate, coordinated, and aligned with project requirements and quality standards.

About You
You will be a technically strong and proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced project environment.
Requirements
- Qualified Architect or Architectural Technologist.
- Proven experience working within RIBA Stages 4.
- Strong technical detailing and project coordination skills.
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
- A delivery-focused approach with excellent problem-solving abilities.
