  • Take ownership of architectural deliverables, ensuring quality, cost, and programme objectives are achieved.

  • Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers, attending meetings and responding to technical queries.
  • Coordinate design information with other disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery.
  • Manage the workload and day-to-day activities of a small technical team where required.
  • Contribute to bid submissions and wider business development activities.
  • Support the management of project risks and ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.
  • Undertake site visits, inspections, and surveys, including occasional site-based assignments where required.
  • Support project delivery across a diverse portfolio of sectors and clients.
  • Assist with mentoring, training, and development of junior team members.

  • Ability to apply architectural theory and principles to practical project challenges.
  • Experience preparing and reviewing architectural designs, drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
  • Good working knowledge of industry-standard software such as Revit, AutoCAD, BIM platforms, and other design tools.
  • Strong understanding of planning processes, Building Regulations, and relevant legislation.
  • Good understanding of CDM Regulations and risk assessment processes.
  • Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary design teams.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commercial awareness and an understanding of project delivery requirements.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver work to programme deadlines.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
