Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Architect role based in Dundee. The Architect will be responsible for developing concept and detailed architectural designs, preparing drawings, production information, specifications, and documentation, coordinating with clients, consultants, and contractors. Daily activities include participating in design reviews, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards, and supporting project delivery from initial briefing through to completion, acting when appropriate as Design Team Leader, Contract Administrator, and carrying out site inspections. The role also involves understanding Scottish construction details, Scottish procedures, and building standards, contributing to design presentations, assisting with planning, Listed Building Consent, Scheduled Monument Consent, and Building Standards applications, collaborating closely with the wider studio team to maintain design quality across multiple projects.

- Strong professional skills in Architecture and Architectural Design, with experience delivering design-led projects.
- Ability to manage project phases and coordinate stakeholders, demonstrating effective Project Management skills.
- Familiarity with Software Development and Integration concepts as they relate to digital design tools, BIM workflows, and interoperability.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and documentation software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, NBS Specwriter, or similar), and strong technical drawing skills.
- Registration with the ARB.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality design.
