Criterion Capital
Criterion Capital is a family-owned, entrepreneurial private property company with a growing portfolio across hospitality, residential, and commercial sectors. Due to continued expansion, we are seeking an Architect to join our Architectural and Development team.
You will lead architectural design from early feasibility and concept through planning approval and statutory compliance, ensuring delivery against programme, budget, and quality requirements. The projects you will be working on will be commercial to residential conversions across Greater London.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate architectural design through planning and statutory approvals
- Manage internal and external design teams and consultants
- Chair design team meetings and drive planning submissions
- Oversee compliance with Planning, Building Regulations, CDM, BREEAM, and sustainability requirements
- Develop and manage Employer’s Requirements and Brand Standards
- Identify and mitigate design risk; support value engineering and optimisation
- Collaborate closely with development, construction, and operations teams
- Support technical queries, change control, and design validation through delivery

Skills & Experience
- Proven experience delivering architectural design for hospitality, residential, or commercial projects
- Degree-qualified Architect (or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of planning, statutory compliance, and the RIBA Plan of Work
- Commercially aware with experience managing consultants
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office (Asta/Procore desirable
