Location: Dorking
Salary: GBP35,43,000
I am working with a RIBA chartered practice to find a talented Senior Architect with a passion for creative designs to join their team in Dorking. The team works across the Residential, Healthcare, and Education sectors and have a keen interest in sustainability and are aiming to be net-zero over the next few years, so would like the Senior Architect to share this goal.
Key Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for the day-to-day delivery and coordination of architectural projects.
- Produce Building Regulations applications, tender documentation, and construction drawing packages.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, planning officers, Building Control, consultants, and contractors.
- Prepare feasibility studies, Design and Access Statements, planning applications, and supporting documentation.
- Develop project specifications using NBS where required.
- Ensure designs comply with current Building Regulations and industry standards.
- Carry out site visits, project meetings, and technical inspections as required.
- Provide technical and administrative support throughout the lifecycle of each project.

About You
- ARB registered Architect with up to four years post-registration experience.
- A solid understanding of UK construction methods, detailing, and technical design.
- Experience using NBS for specification writing would be beneficial.
- Highly proficient in Autodesk Revit, with good working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Strong communication skills, with the confidence to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- Well organized, self-motivated, and able to manage a varied workload.
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
