An award-winning multidisciplinary consultancy is looking to add an Architect to its growing healthcare team. Working directly with NHS Trusts and private healthcare providers, you'll be involved in a wide range of projects across acute, mental health, and community healthcare sectors, as well as specialist private healthcare facilities. With projects ranging from smaller refurbishment and improvement works through to major healthcare developments exceeding £20m, this role offers excellent exposure to technically complex schemes and genuine opportunities for career progression.
The Role
Working within a multidisciplinary team of Architects, Structural Engineers, Building Consultants, and Principal Designers, you'll contribute to the design and delivery of healthcare projects across multiple RIBA stages. The role would suit an Architect who enjoys technically challenging projects, consultant coordination, and delivering well-considered buildings that have a positive impact on end users. You'll work closely with clients, contractors, and in-house specialists, gaining exposure to all aspects of project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to healthcare projects across multiple RIBA stages.
- Develop design proposals, planning packages, and technical information.
- Prepare and coordinate construction and technical documentation.
- Work closely with NHS Trusts, private healthcare clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Coordinate with in-house architectural, structural, civil, and Principal Designer teams.
- Attend project meetings, workshops, and site visits.
- Support project delivery from concept through to completion.
- Maintain high standards of design quality and technical delivery.
Requirements
- ARB-registered Architect.
- Experience working within a UK architectural practice.
- Previous healthcare experience preferred, although candidates from other complex sectors will be considered.
- Good Revit proficiency.
- Strong technical and coordination abilities.
- Good working knowledge of UK Building Regulations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A collaborative and proactive approach to project delivery.
