Exclusive to GRØ Careers. Not advertised on job boards. Not shared directly by the employer. Not available via any other agencies...

You’re qualified now. You’ve proved you can deliver.

But are you actually getting the level of ownership you should be getting at 1-4 years post-accreditation?

If you’re currently in a reputable London studio and want the next step up - more visibility, more responsibility, and better design exposure - this is an exclusive opportunity worth exploring.

The opportunity

Join a 40-strong, award-winning, design-led studio with a leadership team of former Foster + Partners directors.

Medium-sized by design - big enough for serious project scale, small enough for real responsibility.

You’ll be joining during a period of growth, with new positions being released for qualified architects who want to step into stronger leadership and front-end involvement.

Project focus

  • A varied UK pipeline spanning cultural, residential, mixed-use, hospitality and workplace, with the majority of newer projects sitting at RIBA Stages 1-3
  • Large-scale residential and masterplanning opportunities, alongside more design-led hospitality and commercial schemes
  • Ongoing involvement in high-profile cultural work across the wider studio, creating the potential for immediate or future exposure to genuinely rare project typologies as teams and workloads evolve
  • A mix of new-build, refurbishment and complex urban projects, with opportunities to work across different scales, briefs and client types
  • Project values typically ranging from £10m-£300m+

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What you’ll be doing

  • Working closely with a Director, with the trust to keep projects moving without constant supervision
  • Taking ownership of project workstreams with genuine autonomy - not waiting to be told what to do
  • Hands-on design exposure across all RIBA stages, with a strong initial focus on concept, design development, and planning
  • Driving coordination with consultants, clients, and internal teams
  • Supporting project running and client-facing outputs as your capability grows - with future ownership of your own projects
  • Working closely with senior leadership in a studio that’s serious about craft and progression

Why this is different

  • Medium studio advantage: scale and exposure - without being “lost in the machine”
  • Direct access to high-calibre mentorship from senior leaders
  • A culture built around quality, clarity and sustainability of workload (not performative late nights)
  • Clear pathways into senior responsibility - and, for the right person, longer-term routes into design leadership or project/design management
