About the practice
A leading international architecture and design practice with a well-established London studio. The Sports + Entertainment team is expanding and has already started work on new projects. Teams work flexibly across sectors, giving everyone a varied career and keeping the studio efficient.
The role
You will join an established sports architecture and design team, developing and documenting architectural packages for large-scale venues through RIBA Stages 3 and 4, working closely with engineers, consultants and visualisation specialists.
Key responsibilities
- Develop zoning, area schedules and spatial allocation strategies across all stadium tiers, including General Admission, Premium/VIP, VVIP, Player/Athlete, Media and Back-of-House.
- Design athlete and team facilities, including locker rooms, warm-up areas, medical and hydrotherapy suites, coaches' offices and tunnel access routes, in line with sports federation requirements (e.g. FIFA, UEFA, NFL, IOC).
- Plan public concourses, concessions, food and beverage hubs, merchandise stores, restrooms and customer service facilities to optimise flow and revenue generation.
- Coordinate with MEP, structural and specialist consultants and with facility operators.
- Produce and coordinate technical documentation and models in BIM/Revit.
- Apply QA/QC processes and support less experienced team members.
- Communicate clearly with clients and consultants in meetings and documentation.

About you
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
- Approximately 3+ years of architectural experience on large-scale public assembly buildings, sports venues or complex transport hubs.
- Working knowledge of sports federation standards (FIFA, UEFA, IOC etc.) and the Green Guide, plus other relevant regulatory guidance.
- Excellent 3D modelling, visualisation and problem-solving skills.
- Revit and Rhino required.
